Flames of war is a wargame, it simulates the World War Two global conflict. It is the the premiere 15mm wargame for this time period. It provides detailed models which provide an excellent hobby experience and a ruleset that has been tried and tested for many years.
The starter set will give 2 players a starting force from which they can build their army. The german and soviet forces inside are balanced and can already be fielded to play the game!
Wargaming is a decision-making technique that provides structured but intellectually safe-to-fail environments to help explore what works (winning/succeeding) and what does not (losing/failing). A wargame is a process of adversarial challenge and creativity, these games are governed by "rulesets" which each game has their own.
