The year is 1926, and the Roaring Twenties are in full swing. Flappers dance until dawn in smoke-filled speakeasies, enjoying illicit drinks provided by rum runners and the mob. It’s the ultimate celebration in the wake of the War to End All Wars. Yet, a dark menace looms over the city of Arkham. Alien entities known as Ancient Ones lie dormant in the void between space and time, seething at the borders of our world. To prevent these cosmic horrors from claiming dominion over our reality, occult rituals must be thwarted and monstrous beings vanquished.
A small group of investigators stands against the encroaching Arkham Horror. Will they succeed?
Arkham Horror Third Edition is a cooperative board game for 1 to 6 players, where you assume the roles of investigators battling against the Ancient Ones of the 1920s. Inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, players must gather clues, confront terrifying monsters, and secure tools and allies to have any chance of defeating the ancient beings lurking just beyond the fabric of reality.
